What we are building
More than 85% of experimental data is discarded, and with it over $100B in R&D value every year. We build the tools that capture that data and put it to work: effortless structuring of everything from voice notes to instrument output, and a structured, queryable agentic record of every experiment that understands failures and proposes optimized process conditions.
We work with both sides of the discovery problem. For industry, we scope discovery contracts that bring new materials to market faster and more cheaply. For academia, we create more papers and more commercialization opportunities. Our priority verticals are critical minerals and metals, energy storage, catalysis and chemicals, life sciences solid forms, and semiconductors.
We were built by researchers and we are backed by Y Combinator. From a partner's data to our first new material discovered takes under six weeks.
-
Built by researchers
Our team comes out of the lab, so we design for how experiments actually happen, including the runs that did not work.
-
Measured in outcomes
We do not stop at insight. We move partners to publications, patents, scale-up, and industry-academia partnerships.
-
Fast from data to discovery
Under six weeks from a partner's data to our first new material discovered. Speed is part of the product.
