Marketing Manager
Hub is one of the fastest-growing data companies, providing real-world training data to the largest AI and robotics companies. Based in San Francisco and backed by Y Combinator and top VCs, its mission is to advance embodied AGI through real-world data and research.
Responsibilities
As Marketing Manager you own Hub's marketing, from strategy to execution. You understand the objective, set the KPIs, reach them and report back.
- Marketing strategy: turn company objectives into plans, KPIs and results.
- Growth hacking and performance ads to grow our contributor network and our brand.
- Social media management across all Hub channels.
- Influencer management: contact, brief, close the deal, follow up.
- Design and copywriting. You make the assets yourself, and good UI skills are a plus.
Candidate profile
3+ years of experience in marketing, in startups. A hustler with proof of success: campaigns, growth numbers or brands you can point to. We look for outliers with outstanding achievements and grit.
- Fluent in both Portuguese and English, spoken and written.
- Proof of success. Show us the numbers you moved and how you moved them.
- Cross-cultural. You're at home working across countries, cultures and audiences.
- Strong in design and copywriting.
- AI native. Agentic workflows and GenAI are your production stack for research, copy, design and ads. You research the field daily.
- Big sense of ownership. Entrepreneur mindset. You own your projects end to end, report back on results.
- Passionate about technology. You follow AI and robotics because you love it, not because the job asks.
- Bonus: you're a Hermes Agent user, or run a similar always-on personal agent.
Tools and working stack
GenAI for design, copy and video, at production quality.
- Agentic workflows for research, content ops, reporting and ad iteration.
- Performance ads, analytics, SEO, and GEO so Hub shows up in AI answers, not just search.
- Your own agent setup, shipping while you sleep.
Example missions (illustrative, not agreed targets or budgets)
We need a marketing strategy to get more plumbers in Brazil to join the Hub contributor network. Build the strategy and get it executed: you have $50K to get 1,000 plumbers in 30 days.
- We need to update our branding on socials and on the website. Find the right person to do it and get it done.
- We need to clean up our SEO and GEO. Manage this yourself.
Compensation and work authorization
Employer clarification relayed by Victor on 2026-09-25; the original JD remains the source for role responsibilities and work location.
- USD 3,000 monthly base (USD 36,000 annualized) plus bonuses for objectives agreed each month, with the goal of total compensation reaching USD 5,000 per month or more. USD 5,000 is not a hard cap, a guaranteed OTE or an additional USD 5,000 bonus. The employer’s example of 10,000 new signups for a USD 1,000 bonus is illustrative, not an agreed target or standing bonus formula.
- Hub says no existing work authorization is required for Account Manager, Executive Assistant, HR Admin & Accountant or Marketing Manager. This is the employer's stated recruiting policy, not a legal conclusion or a promise of visa sponsorship; it does not change the roles' stated locations or work modes.
- Path to become the Head of Marketing and manage an international team running omni-channel campaigns across the globe.
- Remote, based in Brazil.
- Direct work with the founders. Direct work with top AI labs.
Recruitment process stated in the JD
A short application read by the founders. We open your handles first: your portfolio, the campaigns you ran, the numbers you moved.
- One conversation, then a task from the real work, like the missions above.
- We watch how you approach the problem, how you break it down, what you measure, and how you verify your own work.
- Final conversation, then answer within 48 hours.
The 48-hour answer is a stated process target, not a separately verified service commitment.
Application evidence requested
Send us a short application, in your own words. We want to hear the thing you've done that you're the most proud of, your professional handles (portfolio, LinkedIn, links, etc), and the story behind your achievements.
