Chaldal.com is an online shop based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is a service rooted on the idea that shopping for necessities should not be a burden. At Chaldal, we believe that time is valuable to our fellow Dhaka residents, and that they should not have to waste hours in traffic, brave the weather and wait in line just to buy some eggs – which is why we deliver everything you need right at your door-step and at no additional cost!
Chaldal is a work in progress, and we hope to get better over time. We are firm believers in using technology to improve Bangladesh, and we will continue to invest all our effort in pushing the boundaries of technology in this country.

Before Chaldal, Waseem worked at SigFig, a Silicon Valley fintech startup, where he led development of portfolio management software. He graduated from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship.
Zia Ashraf
Brings experience in management and marketing. Prior to Chaldal, he was Head of Operations at a ready-made garments factory in Bangladesh, managing over 1,000 employees. Holds a BBA in Marketing from North South University.
