Born in 1980 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. Founded DJI in 2006 while studying at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Built early flight controller prototypes in his dorm room and moved the company to Shenzhen. Became Asia's youngest tech billionaire in 2017.

Born Wang Tao in 1980 in Hangzhou, China, Frank Wang founded DJI in 2006 while completing his MPhil in Electronic Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is widely credited as the world's first drone billionaire and has served as CEO and CTO of DJI since its founding.
