About Amperesand
Amperesand is a next-generation power infrastructure company commercializing Medium Voltage Solid-State Transformer (MV SST) technology for AI data centers, defense, and critical power applications. Its modular SST systems use silicon carbide (SiC) devices and proprietary high-frequency transformers that are significantly more efficient, flexible, and resilient than traditional transformers. The technology was spun out of Singapore's Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 2023, incubated by Xora Innovation, after eight years of R&D.
