Linkup is a Paris-based AI-native web search infrastructure company founded in 2024 that provides developers and enterprises with a purpose-built Search API for LLMs and AI agents. Rather than returning links for humans to click, Linkup performs 'agentic search' — interpreting queries, executing multi-step retrieval, and delivering extracted, structured, and source-cited information ready for direct AI consumption. The company has built its own proprietary web index from the ground up, indexing 'atoms of information' — discrete facts extracted from web pages, embedded for semantic retrieval. Linkup holds the #1 position on OpenAI's SimpleQA benchmark with a 91.0% F-Score and grew revenue 1,000x in 2025.
