We are looking for an Applied AI Product Engineer with 1-4 years of experience to join a small, elite team building autonomous AI agents that are transforming QA for top e-commerce brands. Spur (YC S24) is experiencing explosive inbound demand (running multiple pilots every week with brands like Alo Yoga, HelloFresh, and Abercrombie) and needs generalist engineers who can ship across the entire stack. You'll own the full breadth of problems from the browser infrastructure that powers our agents to the product UI that customers interact with daily.
What will you be doing?
Spur is an AI-powered QA platform (YC S24) that builds autonomous browser agents to test websites and applications like real users. Trusted by top e-commerce brands including Alo Yoga, Living Spaces, HelloFresh, Nextdoor, and Abercrombie & Fitch, Spur is reimagining how digital teams ship with confidence.
Our Mission: Don't make your users QA your product. We want to help our customers deliver the best digital experiences possible.
Instead of brittle scripts or endless manual testing, Spur uses agentic AI that adapts to UI changes, catches real bugs, and runs tests in parallel. The company owns all infrastructure in-house, from the browsers that are launched to the simulators and emulators that run tests, to the UI that presents results to customers.
Culture: Spur is a small, elite team of builders from DeepMind, Figma, ex-founders, and customers. The team values high agency, curiosity, and a relentless focus on delighting users. Engineers are generalists who work across the entire stack, are customer-facing, and move fast with minimal hand-holding.
