Forward Deployed Engineer role requiring travel to client sites across France (a minimum of ~6 days per month, up to 3 days per week) to deploy infrastructure, demonstrate the product's capabilities, and show French enterprise clients how to build their own systems using the platform.
The role involves interacting with senior stakeholders (company presidents, heads of sales, heads of marketing) at French companies, and occasionally playing a role in commercial deals. The engineer continuously improves the tech based on new use cases discovered on the ground. Candidates should be graduates of top French engineering schools (Grandes Écoles, CS background), technically strong but also 'vibe coders' with good product understanding and strong communication skills who can interact fluently in French with enterprise clients. GitHub activity, side projects, and self-taught ability to learn new technologies are heavily weighted. Preference for entrepreneurial, autodidact profiles who know the French enterprise landscape and can build strong rapport with French C-level stakeholders.
