About the role
As a Developer Intern at Brickanta you'll be embedded directly in our product and engineering team, working alongside engineers, contributing to real product workstreams, and shipping code that reaches customers.
You'll have ownership, access to context, and the chance to work on projects that matter.
What you'll do
- Feature development on existing and upcoming product work-streams
- Bug fixing, code review participation and testing
- Integration work; APIs, third-party tools, data pipelines
- Documentation and technical write-ups
You might be a fit if
- You're studying or recently graduated in computer science, software engineering or similar, or you have equivalent experience through projects, self-study or work
- You're proficient in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
- You're familiar with RESTful APIs, data pipelines and systems integration
- You have working knowledge of databases and SQL
- You're comfortable with Git and modern development workflows
- You're comfortable with AI tooling like Claude Code and Codex - we operate as an AI-first company
- You have a builder mentality: you take ownership, move fast and care about craft
- You write clearly. At Brickanta, writing creates clarity and everything important gets documented
- You work transparently, sharing context, flag blockers early, and contribute to a shared source of truth
- You're curious and hungry to learn, and you push to understand how and why things work
Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes is a bonus, not a requirement. Background or hands-on experience in construction is a strong plus for at least one of the positions.
