About the role

About Storylane

Storylane helps go-to-market teams show their product instead of just talking about it. Thousands of companies, including some of the biggest brands in the world, use our interactive demo platform, and much of that growth came from a product people love and spread on their own. We’ve since added RepX, an AI agent that qualifies website visitors and brings them into a live, clickable demo, and we have more products launching soon.

The role
Our customer base has grown faster than our ability to give every account the attention it deserves. We’re hiring a Growth AE to own renewals and expansion for a large share of our customers. You’ll protect revenue, grow accounts, and cross-sell our newer products.

This is more than account management. Many of our customers use one product in one team. Your job is to find the next team, the next use case, and the next product, then run a real sale to win it: discovery, demo, business case, close.

We’re a fast-moving startup, so you’ll help shape how Storylane grows its customers, not just follow a playbook.

What you’ll do

  • Own renewals on your book, starting conversations early and treating every renewal as a chance to grow.
  • Drive seat increases, plan upgrades, and multi-year terms.
  • Cross-sell newer products like RepX into accounts that use only part of the platform.
  • Break into new teams and divisions through warm introductions from your champions.
  • Spot churn risk early and run save plans with Customer Success.
  • Run joint business reviews with CS: they cover usage and outcomes, you cover growth.
  • Prioritize a large book so the biggest renewals and best opportunities get the most attention.
  • Keep a clean pipeline in HubSpot and forecast accurately.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years selling SaaS, with recent experience growing existing customers through expansion, cross-sell, and renewals.
  • Experience closing new business, or new-business-style deals inside existing accounts.
  • A record of hitting quota on expansion or net revenue retention, with the numbers to back it up.
  • Experience owning renewals and saving at-risk accounts.
  • Experience managing a large book (hundreds of accounts) and a clear system for prioritizing it.
  • A strong partnership mindset with Customer Success.
  • Resourcefulness, grit, and the drive to be a top performer without a finished playbook.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling to marketing, product marketing, sales, or enablement leaders.
  • A background in go-to-market tech (demo automation, sales enablement, martech).
  • Experience at a product-led growth company, turning self-serve users into larger accounts.
  • Experience selling into both mid-market and enterprise accounts.

Why join

  • You’ll inherit a customer base full of logos most sellers spend years trying to land, with plenty of room to grow.
  • New products are shipping fast, so there’s always something new to bring to your customers.
  • You’ll work closely with sales leadership and help build how Storylane grows its customers as the team scales.

Interested? Apply with a line about the biggest account you’ve grown. We’ll set up a conversation.
