Revise Robotics · Dumbo, Brooklyn · In-person · Paid
We're building robots that refurbish used laptops automatically. Every laptop we process is one fewer going to a shredder, and one more going to someone who needs it. To do that at scale, we need to procure many more laptops through partnerships and collaboration with existing industry players — and that's where you come in.
What you'll actually do
Help us bring used laptops in the door, so that we can continue to train our robots and make them faster, more reliable, and generalizable. You'll research the organizations that retire large volumes of laptops each year, identify the right people inside them, and open conversations. You'll build the target list, draft the outreach, and work email and LinkedIn to schedule meetings on my calendar. As you find your footing, you'll start running those meetings yourself.
This is a real BD role with real outcomes. You'll see exactly how your work translates into laptops diverted from shredders and into the hands of people who need them.
Who we're looking for
You've done some version of sales, fundraising, or persuasive outreach before — a product, a nonprofit, a cause you cared about. You know what "no" feels like and you keep going.
You're a strong writer. Cold emails, LinkedIn notes, and follow-ups are most of the job, and good ones get replies while bad ones don't.
You genuinely care about climate, digital equity, or both. The work has a long feedback loop, and the people who thrive here are the ones who believe in where it's going.
Bonus: any exposure to enterprise IT, sustainability reporting, procurement, or the circular economy.
Logistics
In-person at our Brooklyn NYC office. Paid. 10–12 weeks, flexible start. You'll work directly with Rupesh Jeyaram (CEO).
E-waste recycling facilities spend most of their time and effort sifting through discarded electronics, searching for valuable devices, refurbishing them, and reselling them in second-hand markets.
Our first product is an AI-enabled robotic system that integrates with these facilities to assess and refurbish hundreds of laptops a day without any human intervention. The system tests laptops, wipes their hard drives, photographs them, and posts them on online marketplaces for resale, regardless of model, manufacturer, or operating system.
