About the role

We’re hiring for our Business Development team in New York City to support our U.S. Equities and FX businesses, with potential to expand into new markets. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role at a growing startup—focused on ensuring smooth platform operations, onboarding clients, and monitoring live trading activity. You’ll work closely with both business and engineering teams to automate processes, build internal tools, and move quickly on new initiatives. The role also includes supporting research and analysis across regions and asset classes, and stepping in wherever needed—whether that’s troubleshooting, contributing to product development, or helping scale operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the successful onboarding of new and existing customers
  • Monitor live trading activity and platform performance, and provide level-one, first-class customer support for both technical and trade resolutions
  • Provide timely and professional outbound communications (internal and external) servicing the platform during normal business hours
  • Support OneChronos’ Business Development team with analysis, research, and day-to-day activities across regions and asset classes.
  • Assist with new initiatives, product development, and troubleshooting both real-time production data and long-term infrastructure challenges.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to automate processes.
  • Participate in holiday coverage when necessary

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of work experience, with a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in financial markets at an investment bank or similar is preferred; however, experience as a solutions architect, software engineer, or product specialist at a technology company will also be considered.
  • Proficiency in Python and database languages (e.g., SQL, KDB). Prior experience automating tasks is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage incidents in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to seeing complex projects through from conception to completion.
  • Ability to work across disciplines and quickly transition between projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen interest in technology and trading.

Salary range: $100,000-$125,000 with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus. Actual

base pay is subject to change, and is dependent upon a number of factors, including work

experience, skills, and training.
