You will join the central team as a mission product designer – deployed to support Anduril's Space organization alongside another designer focused in this domain. Together, you will own the design direction for spacecraft mission planning and command & control experiences, working closely with specialized stakeholders including space systems engineers, product managers, and operators in mission-critical environments. As part of the central team, you'll maintain full access to the broader design community for critique, collaboration, and knowledge sharing while building deep expertise in space operations that have immediate real-world impact.</p> <h3 id="ProductDesigner,Space-WHATYOU'LLDO">

WHAT YOU'LL DO</h3> <ul class="has-list-bullet"> <li data-uuid="30f66c59-5d54-4408-aad6-d14d80821c1f">Own spacecraft mission planning and command & control experiences from discovery to delivery – partnering with the Space team's existing designer to define Mission Planning, while progressively expanding into new features and workflows as programs launch as early as 2026.</li> <li data-uuid="a8e89cfd-f8d7-4f4c-a67c-9b605fca83b1">Contribute to defining design direction within your domain with guidance from a design lead – identifying opportunities to maximize reuse across programs while developing increasing autonomy in executing your specific feature areas.</li> <li data-uuid="05a67fdd-3e63-4d51-99e9-685dcbd73453">Lead discovery and validation through problem decomposition sessions with internal operators and collaborative workshops with stakeholders; synthesize findings into design decisions for critical operator workflows.</li> <li data-uuid="514d39f5-9b7b-49e4-97a1-64b54626bc40">Familiarize yourself with existing variants of Mission Planning across Anduril including Maritime and Aerial Autonomy to identify opportunities for strategic reuse and adaptation – leveraging Anduril's existing design system originally developed for ground, maritime, and air to extend and adapt it to unique

requirements for the space domain.</li> <li data-uuid="215f974d-b2fa-4ad7-bc78-8cecbc8fa01d">Shape how product design integrates with engineering & product management through close collaboration, iterative prototyping, and hands-on implementation guidance.</li> <li data-uuid="ae628a20-4b6d-4438-b2ed-f08a1b81faff">Ensure your work is easy to follow through strong narrative skills, journey maps, user workflows, high fidelity mockups, and documentation rigor.</li> <li data-uuid="f8f715f4-f1db-4afc-9bac-a95d98528f9c">Share and participate in team critique to learn Anduril-wide implementations of Lattice and features specific to the space domain.</li> <li data-uuid="fbf73de5-26a8-402a-84c1-ef091a4678a7">Partner with our design systems team to evolve the underlying platform through your work at the edge.</li> </ul> <h3 id="ProductDesigner,Space-REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS">REQUIRED

QUALIFICATIONS</h3> <ul class="has-list-bullet"> <li data-uuid="19d16263-9bfa-4716-84e8-a17b95d819a5">5+ years of experience in product design, UX, or HCI, with a proven ability to execute high-craft, technically informed solutions.</li> <li data-uuid="fa0c5186-f8b2-424c-a866-a1642b721dcd">Developing autonomy in design execution with ability to work independently on feature-level work while seeking guidance on complex ambiguities.</li> <li data-uuid="41d9c6cc-929b-4f13-af3c-6e768e599084">Deep expertise in visual and interaction design with proven ability to design complex technical workflows where precision, clarity, and attention to detail are critical; portfolio demonstrating elegant solutions and high craft quality.</li> <li data-uuid="09fa8974-9ffc-4970-8231-7d107b0a8ff6">Systems thinking mindset with ability to map user journeys across multiple user types and operational contexts.</li> <li data-uuid="477ef894-2db0-4244-b8a4-f81016927aca">Strong prototyping skills to drive clarity in decision-making.</li> <li data-uuid="63351434-cc79-419c-8235-7142ca1a5ad5">Ability to communicate the "why" behind design decisions; work demonstrating having navigated complex stakeholder
