Lead Product Manager, Fan Experience

New York, NY

About the role

SeatGeek believes live events are powerful experiences that unite humans. With our technological savvy and fan-first attitude we’re simplifying and modernizing the ticketing industry. By catering to both fans and rightsholders, we're powering a new, open entertainment ecosystem where fans have effortless access to experiences, and venues have seamless access to their audiences. Because everyone should expect more from ticketing. Most fans don't start their ticket search on SeatGeek. They start with a conversation with ChatGPT, a Google search, an Instagram ad, a team's website, an email, or a link from a friend. What happens in the first few seconds after they land decides whether they find their tickets with us or go back to searching. Today that journey spans many surface areas and responsible teams. We're looking for a Lead Product Manager to focus on the end to end experience, from the first touchpoint through landing and onto the event page, including fans who leave and come back. Once fans land, you'll also own the consistency of the features that follow them across every surface, such as price display and fee transparency, credits and incentives, notifications, saved and followed events, and our guarantee and trust signals. Fans meet these everywhere, yet no single team owns them. This role doesn't have its own squad. You'll deliver through other teams' roadmaps. That means setting the strategy, making the case, and partnering closely with PMs, engineering and design leads, and marketers to turn a fragmented journey into one experience. If you're energized by impact through influence rather than direct ownership of a single surface, this role is for you. What you'll do

Drive the vision, strategy and metrics for how fans get from marketing channels (paid search, paid social, SEO, affiliates, partner links, email, push) through landing and through checkout Stay on top of how discovery is changing, including AI assistants, AI-driven search and social commerce, and bring those opportunities to the right teams Optimize the strategy for landing experiences (performer, venue, category and campaign pages, plus app deep links), so what fans see matches the ad, email or search that brought them Lead the charge for cross-cutting features fans meet after they land, such as price display, credits and incentives, notifications, saved and followed events, and trust signals Set up automated quality checks that keep the experience consistent as teams ship, from checks that price display, trust signals and other shared features match across surfaces, to evals for AI-powered experiences and AI agents that continuously walk key fan journeys. Use them to catch broken experiences, regressions and drop-off spikes before fans feel them Map the full journey, find where fans drop off between teams, and build the case for fixing those gaps with data, research and clear sizing of the opportunity Dig into the data yourself: analyze funnel, channel and experiment results, monitor journey metrics for shifts, and turn what you find into clear recommendations for partner teams Run continuous discovery on the shopping experience, including fan research, data deep dives and competitive teardowns, and turn what you learn into a steady pipeline of ideas and experiments for partner teams Shape the roadmaps of our Product and Marketing Teams. Bring prioritized, well-scoped opportunities into planning and get them committed Run regular working sessions with partner teams to keep journey work aligned, sequenced and moving Work AI-native: prototype ideas with AI coding tools to win buy-in from partner teams, use AI to synthesize research and data at speed, and share the workflows that work so other PMs adopt them Champion the fan journey across the company, celebrate wins, and mentor junior members of the product team

Our stack You absolutely do not need experience with all of these, but we thought you might be curious. Tools can be learned, so we care much more about your general engineering skill than knowledge of a particular language.
