  • Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to analyze pipelines, troubleshoot platform issues, and resolve deployment or integration challenges.

  • Use and coordinate generative AI tools, including Kiro or similar solutions, to support code implementation and accelerate development activities.

  • Review, test, and validate application changes to ensure correctness, stability, and successful integration with the new database environment.

  • Navigate legacy systems and existing infrastructure to understand dependencies, technical constraints, and established development workflows.

  • Contribute to technical problem-solving, migration planning, and continuous improvement throughout the database modernization process.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in .NET development across multiple framework versions, including the ability to work with legacy applications and existing codebases.

  • Strong understanding of software architecture, application dependencies, and database integration within complex technical environments.

  • Experience with database migration activities, particularly transitioning applications from Sybase to SQL Server or comparable relational database platforms.

  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS), particularly Amazon RDS and SQL Server database environments.

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, including pipeline analysis, troubleshooting, and resolving platform or deployment issues.

  • Ability to assess existing applications, identify compatibility gaps, and implement reliable code changes during database migration.

  • Experience using generative AI tools to support software development, code generation, implementation, or migration workflows.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex technical issues and work across legacy systems.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate with engineering and DevOps teams.

  • Nice to have: Hands-on experience with Kiro or similar AI-assisted development tools.

  • Nice to have: Previous experience with large-scale database migration or application modernization projects.
