About the role
We are looking for a Product Engineer with 5+ years of experience to help build Partly's North American products from the ground up, as the company expands into the US. We want a strong full-stack builder who wants to work directly with customers and has good product judgment, not someone who just builds from a spec. Our test is simple: would we want you as our technical co-founder? The strongest hire may also become the technical lead for North American product engineering.
What will you be doing?
- Building and shipping full-stack features end to end, from idea to production, with a backend-first base and statically typed languages
- Working directly with collision shops, estimators and parts managers to learn where their workflows break, then turning that into what you build next
- Building quick MVPs and experiments with AI tools and Python, then helping rebuild the successful ones in Rust
- Owning the metrics, adoption and value of your product area, and making the trade-off calls between product impact and engineering effort
- Moving users from manual work to supervised AI agents that do the work for them, earning their trust on high-stakes repair jobs
