About Brighte
Brighte is a sustainable energy technology platform at the intersection of energy and finance. Brighte provides financing for sustainable home improvements (e.g., solar, batteries, EVs, cooking, double glazing, etc.) as well as energy retailing. Launched in 2015 by Katherine McConnell, with the mission to make every home sustainable, Brighte offers 0% interest payment plans that remove the upfront cost barrier of big ticket items like solar and batteries for homeowners. On the flipside, vendors receive the prompt lump sum payment they need as soon as they complete the job. Additionally, Brighte offers bundled energy plans when homeowners choose Brighte to finance adding batteries to their solar system.
Brighte is backed by Grok Investments, Airtree Ventures, Qualgro, and Skip Capital. Brighte is a leading Australian fintech and has been widely recognised for its innovative, disruptive offering in energy and the sustainable home improvements market.
