About the role
What we're looking for
We need a full-stack engineer with 3–6 years of experience who has built and shipped real systems to production users. You should be comfortable sitting inside customer operations, learning how work actually gets done, and translating messy real-world workflows into software that holds up in the field. Bonus points if you have forward-deployed engineering, founding team, or ex-founder experience at an A-tier or S-tier company.
What you'll do:
-
Embed directly inside customer operations to understand how certification, inspection, and compliance work actually gets done — not the process diagram version, the real one
-
Run customer calls, write specs, and build end-to-end systems (frontend, backend, data model, model layer) that ship to production fast
-
Own full product surface areas from day one, working directly alongside the founders in Shoreditch
-
Ship to production in your first week and iterate based on real user feedback — watch someone use what you built and find out what you got wrong
-
Exercise sharp judgment on what to build and what not to build — half this job is knowing which customer request generalizes and which one doesn't
-
Read actual customer documents, join actual calls, and analyze hundreds of real outputs to build AI-powered workflows for scheduling, technical review, conformity assessment, field inspection, and document intelligence
About Seamflow
Seamflow is building the software layer for the testing, inspection and certification (TIC) industry — the invisible infrastructure that keeps the physical economy safe. Every plane, medical device, lift, battery and building has to be tested, inspected and certified before it reaches the world, and that entire process still runs on Word documents, PDFs, spreadsheets and email.
Seamflow builds AI-powered workflows for certification bodies, notified bodies and inspection companies, covering scheduling and resource planning, technical review, conformity assessment, field inspection, and document intelligence over messy real-world files.
Founded in 2025 and backed by a $4.5M seed round (14x oversubscribed), co-led by Northzone and Initialized Capital — the funds behind Spotify, Klarna, Coinbase and Reddit — Seamflow has gone from one customer a year ago to being deployed inside six of the ten largest enterprises in the industry. The company's valuation has quadrupled this year, and investors have already offered to lead a Series A.
Seamflow runs one of the most ambitious startup cultures in Europe: fast-paced, extremely high ownership, and in-person from their Shoreditch, London office. The team hires against a very high bar — engineering excellence is the number one priority — and the culture is defined by speed, taste, and a relentless focus on building systems that hold up in the real world.
