Data Migration Specialist – 3-Month Temporary Contract About Podium Podium is an AI-powered lead conversion platform that helps local businesses turn more leads into customers through messaging, payments, and AI agents. About the Role We’re looking for a Data Migration Specialist to join our Guatemala team on a 3-month temporary contract. As a Data Migration Specialist, you will ensure new Podium customers start with clean, accurate, and well-structured data from day one. You’ll work closely with Onboarding Managers and Customer Success Managers to extract, clean, transform, validate, and import customer data from legacy systems into Podium. This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll work with Python, spreadsheets, and AI tools to solve complex data challenges and execute migrations efficiently. You’ll also help troubleshoot high-priority customer data issues and ensure migrations are completed accurately and on time. Own end-to-end data migrations: Extract data from third-party systems, including CSV files, APIs, and database exports; clean and normalize the data; and successfully import it into Podium. Transform and validate data: Use Python (pandas) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets to clean, manipulate, and validate large datasets. Leverage AI tools: Use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and internal AI solutions to accelerate data cleaning, validation, and problem-solving. Improve processes: Identify recurring patterns and opportunities to make migrations faster, more scalable, and more accurate. Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Onboarding and Customer Success teams to understand customer requirements and ensure data accuracy. Handle escalations: Troubleshoot and resolve post-launch data issues with urgency, ownership, and clear communication. Manage priorities: Work across multiple migration projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

What You’ll Bring Required

1–2 years of experience in a data or technical role, such as Data Analysis, RevOps, BI, Technical Onboarding, Implementation, or a related field. Strong Python skills, preferably using pandas for data cleaning and transformation. Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas. Experience using AI tools to improve workflows and solve problems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.

Nice to Have

SQL experience. Experience working with REST APIs. SaaS onboarding, implementation, or technical support experience. Familiarity with CRM platforms or business data models.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive compensation starting at Q10,000 per month. 3-month temporary contract. Onsite role in Zone 10, Edificio Interaméricas, Guatemala City. Monday–Friday schedule.
