You’ll join as one of Elyra’s earliest hires and help build the intelligence behind the world’s best restaurants. Your code won’t simply live behind a screen, it will run live service, fill dining rooms, and shape what restaurant software becomes next. From the moment you ship, its impact is felt across thousands of guest interactions.
- Guest-facing agents. AI agents that answer real phone calls, handle email end-to-end, and manage online bookings, all working together to give every guest a fast, personal response.
- An agent-operated platform. An internal agent lets restaurant teams run and configure Elyra through conversation, from onboarding a restaurant and adjusting opening hours to changing floor plans, without spending hours in settings pages.
- A unified knowledge brain. One shared source of truth on guests, visit history, preferences, tables, and house rules that agents and staff both work from. The voice agent on a call and the host at the door know the same things.
- The engine underneath. A real-time availability engine computing bookable slots across floor plans, table combinations, and party sizes hundreds of thousands of times a day. It needs to be fast enough to answer a voice agent mid-sentence and smart enough to place a guest where the human host would.
What we’re looking for
- A strong product engineer who ships end-to-end: you take a problem from idea to production and own the result.
- Fluent in TypeScript and comfortable across the stack (we run React, Hono, and Postgres/Supabase in a strictly-typed monorepo).
- Experienced with building on LLMs: agents, tool use, voice.
- High standards. An obsession with clean, modular code and innovative solutions.
- You want ownership and pace. Everything we ship matters the same day it merges restaurants don't get a second chance at Friday night.
