UI / UX Designer

Remote

About the role

『Job Responsibilities』

  • 「Agent Leverage」 Use AI design tools (Galileo AI, Midjourney, Cursor for front-end prototyping, etc.) to accelerate ideation, generate variations, and validate concepts faster. You don't just use AI as a shortcut — you build it into your design process to multiply output quality.
  • 「Product & Outcome Taste」 Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups — but start by asking the right question: are we solving the right problem? Own the design from user insight to shipped experience, not just pixel delivery.
  • 「Web3 UX Ownership」 Conduct user research and usability testing with a focus on web3-specific friction points — on-ramp flows, wallet interactions, gas fee communication, seed phrase handling. You understand why crypto UX is hard and design around it deliberately.
  • 「Cross-functional Execution」 Collaborate closely with engineering to implement responsive designs across desktop, mobile, and browser extensions. You bridge design intent and implementation reality — not just hand off specs and hope for the best.
  • 「Brand & Visual Craft」 Create visual assets, iconography, and motion graphics that embody the Donut aesthetic: playful yet professional. You have an eye for brand coherence and know when to push creative boundaries vs. when to stay consistent.
  • 「Data-Informed Iteration」 Drive design decisions with A/B testing results and user feedback from the web3 community. You treat launched designs as hypotheses, not finished products.
  • 「Learning Velocity」 Stay ahead of UI/UX trends in blockchain applications, emerging design systems, and accessibility standards. The web3 UX landscape is still being invented — you help invent it. ─── 『Qualifications』
  • 3+ years of UI/UX design experience with a portfolio demonstrating shipped web or mobile products. Web3 or fintech work is a strong plus.
  • 「Design Tool Mastery」 Proficient in Figma (preferred); comfortable with Sketch or Adobe XD. Understands front-end constraints well enough to design for implementation, not just aesthetics (HTML/CSS, React basics).
  • 「User-Centered Judgment」 Strong command of user-centered design principles — accessibility (WCAG), cross-device compatibility, and the ability to make opinionated design decisions backed by user data.
  • 「Web3 Depth」 Genuine familiarity with blockchain UX challenges: seed phrases, transaction states, gas fees, wallet connection flows. You've felt the pain firsthand and have ideas for solving it.
  • 「AI Workflow (Non-Negotiable)」 Actively integrates AI tools into design workflow — for research synthesis, rapid prototyping, or asset generation. Not just awareness of the tools, but demonstrated efficiency gains.
  • 「Architectural Judgment」 Can distinguish between what's a design problem, a copy problem, and a product problem — and knows when to push back vs. execute.
  • Excellent async communication skills; thrives in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field — or equivalent portfolio evidence.
