About the role

We’re looking for candidates to grow our revenue across a portfolio of Outerport’s largest and most strategic enterprise customers in the APAC region (with a large focus on Japan).

In this role you may:

  • Own and drive relationships with Outerport’s largest and most complex enterprise customers across manufacturing OEMs, semiconductor equipment, heavy industries, EPC, chemical manufacturing, and more.
  • Build trusted relationships with executive, technical, and operational stakeholders across mutliple business units.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive new revenue and expansions.
  • Lead deal planning and close plans across new business and renewals.
  • Partner closely with delivery and product teams to deliver compelling value propositions to customers.
  • Act as the voice of customers internally to influence product roadmap.
  • Maintain deep understanding of customer problems.

Hard Requirements

  • Business level proficiency in Japanese
  • Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

  • Experience in business development / sales / account executive roles selling to companies in manufacturing, EPC, semiconductors in Japan
  • Proven track record of closing and expanding large, complex enterprise deals in Japan
  • Industry experience in management consulting
  • Thrive in a fast-moving, chaotic environment whie maintaining strong attention to detail and prioritization
  • Business level proficiency in English
  • Proficiency in other languages (e.g. Mandarin)
