Part-Time Substitute Teacher (Up to $144 Daily)

What You'll Do as a Substitute Teacher:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Fill in for teachers on leave (vacation, illness, personal matters)</li> <li>Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning experience for children</li> <li>Engage children in a variety of activities: educational games, arts & crafts, music, meals, outdoor play, and more</li> <li>Work with a team of teachers, following the guidance of the onsite program director</li> <li>Communicate with families about their child’s day and progress</li> <li>Complete a training and onboarding process with Wonderschool</li> </ul> <p><strong>

Compensation & Incentives:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Earn $14-$18/hour</strong>, up to <strong>$144/day</strong></li> <li><strong>$75 First Job

Bonus</strong> - work within 30 days of completing onboarding</li> <li><strong>$250

Bonus at 40 hours</strong> - with CPR/First Aid certification complete</li> <li><strong>$200

Bonus</strong> - awarded for every 200 hours of substitute teaching</li> <li><strong>$250 Monthly

Qualifications /

Who You Are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least 18 years old</li> <li>Experience in child care, teaching, or working with children ages 0-5</li> <li>Patient, dependable, and excited to support young children as they learn and grow</li> <li>Able to pass a state background check and complete a TB test / physical</li> </ul> <p>Have one of the following:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent GED;</li> <li>Child Development Associate (CDA) credential;</li> <li>EDU 119 Early Childhood Credential;</li> <li>ECE AA or BA Degree;</li> <li>1+ years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility</li> </ul> <p><strong>Apply today to join our community of substitute teachers making a lasting impact on children's lives in Wilmington!</strong></p>
