The mission

We want the world to hear about Standout—and we want to find the creator who can tell our story best.

Create a video about Standout that makes people stop, watch, and want in. We are not looking for a corporate ad. We want original work from creators who understand the internet, understand what we are building, and know how to make an idea spread.

What is Standout?

Standout is an agentic hiring marketplace. Autonomous AI agents represent both exceptional tech talent and ambitious startups, vet each side, and make introductions only when there is a genuine fit.

Think of it as the Hollywood-agent model for hiring: talent gets free, passive, and anonymous career representation, while companies pay only when they make a successful hire.

We focus on the startup ecosystem—founding engineers, early product hires, and GTM leaders joining pre-seed through Series B companies. Standout is a Y Combinator P26 company based in San Francisco.

The strongest videos will show that you actually understand this, not simply repeat a tagline.

The contest

Stage 1: Create and post

Create an original video about Standout and post it publicly on either:

• X, tagging @standoutwork
• Instagram, tagging @standout.work

There is no application or form to complete. We will review every eligible video that tags us.

Post as many videos as you want. Every video is another chance to make the top three.

Each creator will be ranked by their best-performing eligible video. The three creators with the most views will be flown to El Salvador.

Stage 2: One week in El Salvador

The three finalists will join the full Standout team at our villa in El Salvador for one week.

We will create content together, test ideas, move quickly, and see how each finalist works with the team. At the end of the week, Standout will choose the strongest creator and hire them for $10K/month.

The role

The winner will work directly with the founders and own Standout’s content engine: turning sharp opinions, hiring data, customer stories, product launches, and the daily reality of building the company into content people genuinely want to watch and share.

You will experiment with formats and hooks, study what performs, and help make Standout the defining voice for agentic hiring and startup talent.

Rules

• Post before August 24, 2026.
• Content must be original and created by you.
• Tag the correct Standout account.
• Keep your content public through judging so we can verify its reach.
• Be truthful about Standout—creative freedom is encouraged, false claims are not.
• Multiple entries are welcome.
• Standout will select the final hire after working with all three finalists in El Salvador.
