The mission

We want the world to hear about Standout—and we want to find the creator who can tell our story best.

Create a video about Standout that makes people stop, watch, and want in. We are not looking for a corporate ad. We want original work from creators who understand the internet, understand what we are building, and know how to make an idea spread.

What is Standout?

Standout is an agentic hiring marketplace. Autonomous AI agents represent both exceptional tech talent and ambitious startups, vet each side, and make introductions only when there is a genuine fit.

Think of it as the Hollywood-agent model for hiring: talent gets free, passive, and anonymous career representation, while companies pay only when they make a successful hire.

We focus on the startup ecosystem—founding engineers, early product hires, and GTM leaders joining pre-seed through Series B companies. Standout is a Y Combinator P26 company based in San Francisco.

The strongest videos will show that you actually understand this, not simply repeat a tagline.

The contest

Stage 1: Create and post

Create an original video about Standout and post it publicly on either:

• X, tagging @standoutwork
• Instagram, tagging @standout.work

There is no application or form to complete. We will review every eligible video that tags us.

Post as many videos as you want. Every video is another chance to make the top three.
