Senior Accountant, External Financial Reporting

<p>The Senior Accountant contributes to the preparation of SEC filings, consolidated financial statements, and technical accounting documentation. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of reporting deliverables and supports compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX

requirements for HawkEye 360, a newly public company.</p> <p><strong>Your main

responsibilities will be:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p><em>External Financial Reporting:</em></p> <ul> <li>Prepare sections of 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings, including schedules and footnotes.</li> <li>Assist with validating disclosure information and help maintain processes ensuring filings are accurate, complete, and compliant with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.</li> <li>Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and integrate information into disclosures.</li> <li>Leverage Workiva and related processes and technologies to ensure reported financial data derives from a single source, and to drive efficiency in the reporting and review processes.</li> <li>Support quarterly reviews and annual audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.</li> </ul> <p><em>Technical Accounting:</em></p> <ul> <li>Assist with researching technical accounting matters and drafting accounting memos and supporting documentation.</li> <li>Assist with implementation of new accounting standards and SEC regulatory changes.</li> </ul> <p><em>Consolidation & Intercompany:</em></p> <ul> <li>Prepare consolidation entries and reconciliations.</li> </ul> <p><em>Policy & Controls:</em></p> <ul> <li>Support SOX compliance

requirements related to financial reporting.</li> <li>Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Your skills and

qualifications:<br></strong><strong>Essential education and experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.</li> <li>CPA or CPA-eligible.</li> <li>3+ years accounting/financial reporting experience.</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of, and ability to research rules around U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance

requirements.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Public accounting experience.</li> <li>Experience with financial statement preparation, consolidations, and XBRL tagging preferred.</li> </ul> <p></p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>We offer a
