the role The Golang Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Golang ecosystems. Success in this role means delivering efficient, scalable, and maintainable code while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Reporting to the Lead Developer, the Software Engineer contributes to the technical direction of projects and ensures adherence to best coding practices. This role is critical in enhancing the company's technology capabilities and supporting business objectives through robust software development. Key
Responsibilities: Develop, test, and deploy applications, ensuring high performance and security. work on a new version of the platform in Golang Collaborate with Product Owners, Security and Infrastructure team and Data Team to implement technical solutions. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure best practices and code quality. Optimize application performance and scalability, addressing technical debt where necessary. Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, ensuring system stability and reliability. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing solutions. Key Stakeholders: Reports to: Lead Developer Works with: Product Owners External interactions: May collaborate with the support team to help them to respond to the client Performance Metrics: Code quality and adherence to best practices Contribution to project timelines and deliverables System reliability and performance improvements Active participation in knowledge sharing and team mentorship Knowledge Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 2 to 5 years of experience in software development (Golang) Experience in Payments, Financial Services, Banking, or FinTech is a plus. Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure or AWS). Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong knowledge of software design principles, performance optimization, and security best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
