Job Summary:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. The CFO will oversee all financial operations, providing strategic direction to ensure the company’s financial health, sustainability, and growth. This role requires a seasoned financial leader with a proven track record in technology, finance or SaaS companies, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with ramani’s mission and growth objectives.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support operational and strategic goals.
  • Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency for internal stakeholders, investors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Lead fundraising efforts, including equity financing, debt arrangements, and investor relations, to fuel company expansion.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax requirements, and audits, in Ramani’s operating countries.
  • Leverage financial data and analytics to identify risks, opportunities, and efficiencies across the organization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and operations teams to drive revenue growth and optimize resource allocation.
  • Represent the company externally with stakeholders, including investors, banks, and other financial partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role (CFO or equivalent) at a technology, SaaS, or high-growth company.
  • Experience managing investor relations and working with venture capital or private equity stakeholders.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a passion for driving measurable results.
  • Experience scaling a company through high-growth phases is a plus.
