About the role
Magic Leap is completing its pivot from first-party AR device maker to third-party waveguide display optics supplier, with ~10,000 patents (the largest portfolio in the industry) and a key Android XR partnership with Google. Think Qualcomm for smart glasses: build the industry's most critical component, then scale from tens of thousands of units to millions of waveguides. This Senior Counsel is a smart generalist on a lean team, moving between commercial and product work as the business needs. Most of the mission-critical work right now is customer-facing: landing OEM customers through commercial agreements on both the customer and vendor side, and handling product, regulatory, and manufacturing issues when they come up.
