The Role </strong></span></p> <p class="p2"><span class="s1">As a leader in Marketplace Software, you will lead

the team responsible for Marketplace Management Tools: the software Zipline teams use to run, understand, and continuously improve the marketplace. You will turn complex operational workflows into simple, durable products that make it easier to manage day-to-day marketplace health, resolve issues quickly, and scale an exceptional delivery experience. This is a hands-on product-engineering leadership role, partnering closely with Product and Operations to make the right bets and deliver meaningful marketplace impact. This role does not own the core platform or partner integrations.</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>

What You'll Do </strong></span></p> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li3"><span class="s1">Lead, coach, and grow an exceptional team of software engineers.</span></li> <li class="li3"><span class="s1">Own the roadmap and execution for a group of marketplace management tools, services, and products.</span></li> <li class="li3"><span class="s1">Build a beloved marketplace app.</span></li> <li class="li3"><span class="s1">Partner closely with Product to bring clarity to the chaos and enable top engineers to move at high velocity.</span></li> <li class="li3"><span class="s1">Work with technical leads to improve the software architecture to enable efficient scaling.</span></li> </ul> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>What You'll Bring</strong></span></p> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li3"><span class="s1">A track record of leading software engineering teams that ship operationally complex, customer-facing software.</span></li> <li class="li3"><span class="s1">Strong technical judgment and the ability to guide architecture and execution so a lean team can get a lot done.</span></li> <li class="li3"><span class="s1">A track record of hiring, coaching, and developing exceptional engineers.</span></li> <li class="li3"><span class="s1">Excellent product sense, prioritization, and cross-functional partnership.</span></li> <li class="li3"><span class="s1">Comfort operating in ambiguity and creating clarity where others see chaos.</span></li> </ul> <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>What Else You Need To Know</strong></span></p> <p class="p2"><span class="s1">The starting cash range for this role is $217,000 - $270,000 depending on experience. This is a target starting range for a candidate who meets the minimum

qualifications; the final cash offer will depend on experience,

qualifications, skills, working location, and projected impact. The total

compensation package for this role also includes equity

compensation and
