This position is responsible for shaping the architectural vision, technical strategy, and long-term evolution of Conga's B2B Platform, including the platform capabilities that support Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM) and Pricing Solutions.</p> <p>As a Senior Software Architect, you will provide architectural leadership across multiple product, platform, and data initiatives, ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, business objectives, scalability

requirements, and long-term platform strategy. You will serve as a trusted advisor to Engineering, Product, and Executive leadership while driving innovation, modernization, and technical excellence throughout the organization.</p> <p>This role is ideal for experienced architects who possess deep technical expertise, a systems-thinking mindset, and a proven ability to influence engineering direction at scale.</p> <p><strong>Why It's a Big Deal...</strong></p> <ul> <li>Define and drive the architectural vision, technology strategy, and roadmap for Conga's B2B Platform, shared services, and enterprise data capabilities.</li> <li>Lead the design and review of complex, business-critical systems and large-scale modernization efforts.</li> <li>Establish and champion enterprise architecture standards, governance processes, and engineering best practices.</li> <li>Partner with Product, Engineering, Security, Operations, and Data leaders to align technology investments with business objectives.</li> <li>Drive architectural decisions that balance customer needs, business priorities, security, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.</li> <li>Lead the architecture of enterprise data capabilities, ensuring effective ingestion, governance, access, integration, and reuse of business data across products and platform services.</li> <li>Evaluate and drive adoption of emerging technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns that accelerate innovation and business outcomes.</li> <li>Mentor Architects, Principal Engineers, and technical leaders while fostering architectural excellence across engineering teams.</li> <li>Promote cloud-native, Azure-based, API-first, event-driven, and scalable architectural approaches across the product ecosystem.</li> <li>Serve as a key escalation point for complex technical challenges, architectural risks, and cross-functional dependencies.</li> <li>Partner with Executive leadership to identify and address technical debt, platform investment opportunities, and strategic technical initiatives.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Here's

What We're Looking For...</strong></p> <ul> <li>12+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience in architecture leadership roles.</li> <li>Proven success defining and implementing architecture for large-scale enterprise SaaS platforms and distributed systems.</li> <li>Deep expertise in Java-based application development, cloud-native architectures, microservices, and modern software engineering practices.</li> <li>Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, API management, event-driven architectures, and platform engineering principles.</li> <li>Experience designing highly scalable, secure, resilient, and observable SaaS solutions serving enterprise customers.</li> <li>Hands-on expertise with public cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.</li> <li>Strong experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and high-volume transaction systems.</li> <li>Experience designing platform capabilities for enterprise data management, including data ingestion, processing, storage, governance, access, and integration across distributed systems.</li> <li>Experience with modern data platforms and technologies used to manage enterprise data and business objects, such as Databricks, including their integration with operational applications and platform services.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to lead technology strategy and influence architectural decisions across multiple teams and organizations.</li> <li>Proven ability to drive architectural governance while balancing pragmatism, speed, and innovation.</li> <li>Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li> <li>Experience mentoring architects, principal engineers, and senior technical contributors.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why This Role Matters at Conga</strong></p> <ul> <li>Directly shape the architecture, scalability, and long-term technology strategy of Conga's B2B Platform, which powers core business capabilities across multiple product lines.</li> <li>Influence architectural and technology decisions that enable platform-wide consistency, reuse, interoperability, and innovation.</li> <li>Lead the evolution of foundational platform services, enterprise data capabilities, and shared infrastructure that support Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM), Pricing Solutions, and future platform investments.</li> <li>Drive scalability, reliability, security, observability, and operational excellence across the platform ecosystem.</li> <li>Enable engineering consistency and platform adoption through scalable architectural frameworks, standards, and governance practices.</li> <li>Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Executive leadership to align platform investments with strategic business objectives.</li> <li>Enable data-driven innovation by advancing enterprise data management capabilities, including data integration, governance, accessibility, and business object services.</li> <li>Help build and mentor the next generation of technical leaders, architects, and principal engineers across the organization.</li> <li>Serve as a strategic technology leader with broad influence on Conga's platform strategy, engineering maturity, and future growth.</li> </ul> <p> </p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>In the spirit of the Conga Way, we strive to design easy-to-understand

Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, or training. In addition to base salary, Conganeers receive a variable incentive pay component,

benefits including medical and dental insurance. </p> <p>The posted salary ranges are for the expectations outlined in the job description.  We are often open to a wide variety of profiles and sometimes have flexibility within our organizational structure to adjust

the role

responsibilities up or down should we select a candidate that is less or more experienced than the posted job
