GTM Engineer

San Francisco, New York

About the role

You build and run the outbound engine and the systems behind it: sending infrastructure, list building and enrichment, the campaign pipeline through agents you manage, the CRM, and measurement. Your buyers are executives at mid-market companies: CEOs, CFOs, and operating partners. This is an executive outbound motion running directly to your buyers and indirectly through the appropriate channels and partnerships. The go-to-market plan is written and the outbound motion starts this quarter. Your job is to put it into operation, get the first campaigns live, measure them, and report what moved. You are measured on positive-reply rate, meetings booked, and pipeline sourced by outbound. Agents do the repeatable work; you build (or buy) and own their output.

First 90 days

  • The outbound campaign pipeline running as agents you built: list building, enrichment, personalization, quality checks, and reply triage, wired together as reusable skills.

  • The first campaign live in one vertical, measured weekly against a positive-reply floor agreed before launch, with a hold-out group.

  • Sending infrastructure live: cousin domains, warmed mailboxes, list verification, and deliverability monitored.

  • The company’s contacts, deals, and history consolidated in one agentic CRM (Monaco live since Sep-2026)) and kept clean.

  • Measurement live: GA4, Google Search Console, and the website’s conversion path, tracked end to end.

What you bring: mandatory skills and experience

  • Three or more years running outbound or growth systems at B2B software companies between seed and about $50M in ARR, including at least one build from zero.

  • Outbound campaigns you built and ran that produced quality MQLs that booked meetings, with the list logic, the sequence, and the reply and meeting numbers you can show.

  • High AI fluency, demonstrate an automation or AI agent you built that is still running in production.

  • Experience and skills building an AI-managed, high-quality content generation engine.

  • Demonstrated ability to turn positioning, customer pain points, and proof points into outbound sequences that earn responses from senior buyers, and systematically improve the narrative based on campaign data and sales feedback.

  • Sending infrastructure you set up or repaired anad managed: domains, warmup, list verification, and deliverability.

  • Knowing when to buy or build and demonstrated experience managing vendors to deliver outcomes.

  • An attribution setup or dashboard that a sales team used to make decisions.

  • A robust A/B testing methodology that you’ve operated at scale and across channels.

  • Experience running pre-post live (in person) event campaigns.

Plus: nice to have that will make you stand out

  • CRM automations Monaco or other agentic CRM.

  • A CRM build or migration you ran, including the data and history you moved.

  • Python or TypeScript, and SQL; code you have shipped against APIs and webhooks to connect systems.

  • Claude Code or another agent framework; n8n or Zapier.

  • Explorium, Clay, or other contact enrichment and verification at list scale.

  • Content you operated for someone else: publishing, distribution, and measurement.

  • Strong social following

  • Portfolio of past work

  • Design skills, high-standards for AI generated outputs
