The Mission
Every machine is built and repaired by skilled hands. The world needs more of them.
At Darwin, we’re building robots that can do the work. We’re starting with AI infrastructure, where assembly, installation, and maintenance demand dexterity, precision, and tool use across a long tail of tasks that traditional automation cannot handle.
Our robots learn these tasks from demonstrations, not explicit programming.
We’re a team of engineers and researchers building the intelligence and hardware to put these robots into the real world.
What You’ll Work On
- Robot Learning: Train models and policies that enable robots to learn complex physical tasks from demonstrations.
- Dexterous Manipulation: Build capabilities for precise assembly, cable handling, connector insertion, and tool use.
- Robot Systems: Integrate hardware, software, sensors, and actuators into reliable robotic systems.
- Mechanical Engineering & Mechatronics: Design and build robotic mechanisms, end effectors, and electromechanical systems.
- Perception & Control: Develop perception and control systems for manipulating objects in complex environments.
- Real-World Data: Build teleoperation, demonstration collection, and training pipelines.
- Simulation & Evaluation: Develop environments and benchmarks to measure performance and accelerate learning.
Who You Are
We’re looking for engineers and researchers who want to build intelligent machines that work in the real world. You have high agency, are a team player, move quickly, and care deeply about making things work. You have exceptional ability in at least one technical discipline and the curiosity to work across others.
You want to build and deploy robots that work, not just prototypes.
The first city on Mars will need a technician. Help us build one.
