About the role
We are now looking for a frontend focused Founding Engineer to join our team. As one of our first hires, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company, our culture, and technology. You will fully own the frontend of Letter AI's web app and help us deliver a world-class user experience driven by the latest advances in generative AI. Your key
responsibilities will include: Develop high-performance, responsive frontend interface using React and Redux Implement engaging and delightful UI experiences using Material UI Take full ownership of the frontend code, ensuring its quality, scalability, reliability and maintainability in an AWS environment Collaborate closely with the backend team to ensure smooth integration and contribute to architectural decisions. Understand customers needs and use that knowledge to improve the user experience
Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in frontend development Proven experience working with TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Redux, and Material UI Integrating with backend APIs, using techniques like caching to improve performance Knowledge of automated UI testing frameworks Past experience or strong interest in generative AI Highly collaborative mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skills As a part of
