Slash was founded by Victor Cardenas and Kevin Bai in 2021. The company started as a neobank for self-employed individuals, with a particular focus on resellers Early reseller customers loved Slash because we provided them with virtual cards, enabling them to enter competitive raffles for limited-release products.
Within 11 months, we were processing $11M in monthly card volume, generating approximately $5M in annualized revenue. After the decline of the sneaker market in late 2022, we successfully pivoted by systematically reaching out to our largest customers to discover their new ventures. This led us to develop specialized solutions for ticket brokers and performance marketing agencies, finding product-market fit with these new verticals.
We are now forging a new path forwards, with 2 new initiatives: AI and global.
Today, Slash processes billions in yearly card volume, has over $300M in annual revenue, and serves thousands of businesses across multiple industries.
