Strategic Project Lead

We are looking for a Strategic Project Lead with 2 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a related high performance role to join a series A startup building reinforcement learning environments that train frontier AI models for across financial services and other knowledge work areas.. You'll work directly with labs like Anthropic and OpenAI shaping how the next generation of AI agents learn to do real finance work. You will be one of the key people driving forward account delivery and have a massive impact at a 15-person team that just raised a series A.

What will you be doing?

• Owning day-to-day delivery and quality of training environments shipped to customers (Anthropic, Google DeepMind), including managing contractors and running experiments
• Acting as one of the lead product manager, forming opinions on the product, working with engineers to ship features, and driving the product roadmap in tight partnership with the engineering team
• Managing customer relationships: understanding requirements, setting expectations, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards
• Building operational systems, creating documentation, quality guardrails, and scalable processes to support rapid project cycles.
• Contributing to strategic and financial planning across pricing, revenue modeling, and evaluating project economics

Key Requirements

• 2 years of experience across finance or consulting or other areas investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, or consulting (MBB). You must be able to deeply explain the work you've done
• Startup experience and exposure. Work in operations at a startup, multiple startup internships, starting your own company.
• Exposure to high level client deliverables for professionalism and quality
• Demonstrated self-starter mentality — entrepreneurial side projects, started a business, or independently built something meaningful
• Active usage and building with AI tools (Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, etc.). Explain what you have built, why it is important and how it is relevant to the role.
• Must be full-time in-person in San Francisco (5 days/week in Dogpatch office)
