Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Job Location: Chennai, India Role: As a Drafting Engineer – Mechanical, you shall be able to do: · The basic Mechanical component and assembly design in any 2D or 3D CAD tool with proper tolerancing, dimensioning and manufacturability. · Define the parts and its clearances for manufacturing · Able to derive 2D to 3D and 3D to 2D models based on the manufacturing
requirements. · Ability to define and adapt GD&T as per the process and tool.
Responsibilities: As a Drafting Engineer – Mechanical, you shall: · Perform drafting and design of components and assemblies of circuit breaker. · Assign GD&T, ISO GPS, etc., · Understand and define the manufacturing tolerances and clearances of HVCB parts Desirable Qualification: · Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering · 3-5 Years of experience in design involving 2D and 3D modelling of parts and assemblies. · Proficiency in drafting tools such as CREO, SOLIDWORKS, CATIA etc., · Good knowledge on GD&T, ISO GPS. · Ability to work closely with cross-functional team to guide and support them on basic clarifications regarding product and tests.
