About the role
Build the system that decides how people pay.
Wallets today store cards. Uno decides which one to use.
Uno understands the merchant, purchase context, rewards, offers, and each user’s goals, then chooses the best way to pay in real time. We are starting with an intelligent wallet for iPhone and building the payment intelligence layer behind it.
What you will build
- The iPhone app and core payment experience
- Merchant prediction engines and category prediction
- Real-time payment decisions that must be fast, accurate, and reliable
- Backend, data infrastructure, and new products from prototype through production
This is not a narrow mobile, backend, or ML role. You will work directly with the founders, decide what matters, ship quickly, and own whether it works.
Who we are looking for
- You have built technically difficult products that real users depended on.
- You are exceptional in at least one of mobile, backend, or ML
- You can turn messy real-world data and ambiguous problems into reliable product behavior.
- You want significant ownership at the earliest stage of a company.
The team
You will work directly with Saket Joshi, a former xAI Member of Technical Staff who built recommendation systems at scale, and Mordi Shadpour, a former Bloomberg Terminal expert.
You will help shape the product, architecture, engineering culture, and team we build next.
