<p>We are seeking a seasoned Manager of Revenue Accounting to be a key leader on the Global Controllership team. This role is responsible for owning the end-to-end revenue recognition function under ASC 606, partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Revenue Operations, Legal and FP&A. The Manager, Revenue Accounting plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate combines technical accounting expertise with strong leadership skills and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. </p> <p class="p1" style="text-align: center;"><strong>This role is open to remote-applicants in Canada (in Provinces where we can hire legally). </strong></p> <p><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Serve as an internal technical accounting expert for revenue accounting with deep knowledge of IFRS 15 / ASC 606, providing advice to stakeholders, including senior leaders.</li> <li>Develop and implement revenue recognition policies and processes. Interpret related policies and authoritative literature and exercise judgement to determine appropriate action related to revenue-related transactions and write related technical memos</li> <li>Manage the monthly close process related to revenue including the timely completion of close items, analytical review, deferred revenue and commissions schedules and other reports.</li> <li>Prepare revenue related disclosure to support the preparation of the company’s financial statements</li> <li>Develop and implement timely reporting and process improvements based upon industry trends, authoritative literature and business objectives</li> <li>Monitor relevant IFRS and SEC developments to ensure revenue recognition policies and procedures are in compliance</li> <li>Partner with other functional teams to improve system processes and reporting outputs</li> <li>Develop training on revenue recognition rules, policies and practices to present to Sales and other departments within the organization</li> <li>Participate in monthly and quarterly revenue forecasting</li> <li>Manage all revenue recognition matters with the external audit firm and internal audit for quarterly reviews and annual audit</li> </ul> <p><strong>WHAT YOU’LL NEED: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 8+ years in an accounting / finance role or equivalent combination of education and experience </li> <li>CPA with Big Four and public company experience</li> <li>Passion for technical accounting under IFRS / US GAAP, with a deep understanding of IFRS 15 / ASC 606 and other revenue related guidelines in a high growth SaaS environment</li> <li>Strong communication and organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in interacting with all levels of management and training in technical accounting matters</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Netsuite, Salesforce, and G-Suite</li> <li>Ability to demonstrate excellent judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential and highly sensitive financial or other information</li> </ul> <p><strong>
