What we're looking for:
We need someone with 3–6 years of hands-on U.S. patent prosecution experience who thrives in a high-volume filing environment (10–15 filings/day is a normal pace here). You should be comfortable working directly with a large client — not just through attorneys — and have a track record of maintaining accuracy and calm under deadline pressure. Bonus points if you come from a high-volume IP boutique like Fish & Richardson, Finnegan, or Sterne Kessler, or a BigLaw IP group with strong prosecution volume.

Why Wolf Greenfield:
Company Description
Wolf, Greenfield & Sacks, P.C. is a Boston-headquartered intellectual property boutique approaching its 100-year anniversary, making it one of the oldest and most established IP-focused firms in the United States. The firm has approximately 125 attorneys across three offices: Boston (~107 attorneys), New York (~7), and Washington, DC (~8). Founded as a family-owned firm, Wolf Greenfield has deliberately preserved a small-firm, boutique culture as it has grown, and that culture remains a defining feature of the firm today.
Wolf Greenfield is one of the largest dedicated IP firms in New England and consistently ranks among the top patent firms in the country by volume of filings and patents prosecuted. The firm's practice is built almost entirely around intellectual property, with three core areas: patent prosecution (the firm's largest practice by headcount), patent litigation, and trademark and copyright work, supplemented by IP licensing and transactions. Unlike full-service firms with IP groups bolted onto general practices, Wolf Greenfield's pure-IP focus means every attorney, paralegal, and administrator at the firm works on IP matters every day.
The firm's technical bench is unusually deep. Practitioners hold advanced degrees and industry experience across electrical engineering, computer science, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, nanotechnology, and medical devices. This depth allows Wolf Greenfield to serve clients ranging from individual inventors and venture-backed startups to Fortune 500 technology, life sciences, and pharmaceutical companies on complex, technically sophisticated patent portfolios.
The firm operates on a hybrid schedule (two days in office, with full remote eligibility for staff 50+ miles from an office) and is registered to employ in most of New England, New York, New Jersey, the Mid-Atlantic, North Carolina, Minnesota, and Illinois. Wolf Greenfield is known for its strong benefits package, including a 35-hour workweek for non-exempt employees, five weeks of PTO, unlimited PTO for exempt staff, full medical/dental/vision coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield, 401(k) with employer match plus discretionary profit sharing, tuition reimbursement, and parental leave. The firm's Boston headquarters is located at 600 Atlantic Avenue, directly adjacent to South Station.
