About the Role: This role will be responsible for driving key business outcomes by tackling some of the most complex and challenging problems across the organization. You’ll work closely with the members of the Executive Leadership Team and other senior leaders throughout the business to improve team productivity and streamline workflows through process optimization and automation. Using data, you’ll drive process improvements, manage resources, and support special projects to meet business needs. This role reports to the VP of Business Operations and base compensation for this role may land between $120,000-$140,000. In addition to base salary, Medallion offers equity, and benefits as part of the total compensation package. Responsibilities: Operational Strategy and Execution Design and implement operational strategies that improve team productivity and process efficiency. Partner with leadership to align operations with broader company goals, ensuring execution supports long-term growth. Act as a thought partner to functional leads, identifying blind spots and opportunities across the org Process Improvement Lead initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance the overall performance of the operations team. First focus: overhaul and improve the implementation process—diagnose current state, define an ideal state, roll out solutions, and transition ownership to the team. Utilize data analytics to identify bottlenecks, develop KPIs, and track performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. Establish reporting frameworks to ensure new processes remain healthy after handoff. Resource Planning Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure operational processes are conducted within budget. Special Projects Stand up new workflows / teams and other ad hoc projects based upon business needs. Serve as a “first responder” for operational pain points, parachuting into areas that require urgent stabilization or scale. Drive cross-functional initiatives where ownership is unclear, creating clarity and alignment across stakeholder Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 4+ years of experience in consulting, business operations, business management, or a related field, with a preference for candidates who have worked in healthcare, tech-enabled services, or environments with complex implementation and service delivery processes Proven track record of managing operational teams and driving complex process improvements. Experience in process optimization, automation, and project management. Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and operational improvements. Experience with budget management, resource planning, and financial forecasting. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
