Enterprise Account Executive

San Francisco, United States
Full-time

About the role

We are looking for a Founding Account Director with 3-6 years of enterprise sales experience to win new logos and help build Fragment's outbound sales motion from the ground up. Fragment's AI agents resolve procurement exceptions from start to finish for $1B+ revenue physical goods companies, and Fortune 500 customers already use the platform in production. Sales has mostly been led by the founders, with one AE on the team. We need hungry, fast-improving hunters who are comfortable building without every piece in place. You'll sell a new category of product to C-suite and VP-level buyers at some of the most complex enterprises in the world.

What will you be doing?

  • Running the full sales cycle, from lead generation to close, with a focus on new logos at F250-F1000 enterprises, especially physical goods companies
  • Building your own pipeline through outbound: mapping enterprise teams and stakeholders and finding the highest-value accounts to get into
  • Selling to executives in Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance, and getting deals past IT/Security reviews
  • Teaching the market how AI agents can resolve exceptions that are handled manually today, and selling a product buyers haven't seen before
  • Helping shape the early sales playbook, deal process, and team culture as one of Fragment's first sales hires, with about 50% travel to customers and conferences

About Fragment

Fragment is the AI platform for autonomous procurement. Our agents resolve the exception-heavy work that runs source-to-pay at large physical goods companies: PO change orders, PR-to-PO, three-way match breaks, and vendor inquiries. They sit on top of existing ERPs and portals rather than replacing them, using our Autonomous Context Engine, a per-company context and data layer that encodes the tribal knowledge that today lives only in people's heads.

Backed by 8VC, General Catalyst, and A*, and angels include Roelof Botha (ex-Sequoia), Nikesh Arora (Palo Alto Networks), Eric Yuan (Zoom), Jeff Wilke (Amazon), Chris Ré (Stanford AI Lab).
