About SiPhox Health SiPhox Health is building the leading home testing platform for biomarkers across inflammation, hormones, and metabolic and cardiovascular health. Six in ten Americans live with a chronic disease, and our mission is to make early detection possible from home. We operate two business lines, both scaling quickly: Mail-in blood testing : Growing more than 50% quarter over quarter, and the most comprehensive and highly rated at-home blood testing available today. At-home blood testing device : Planned launch in 2027. Our chip-based module combines biochemistry with integrated photonics, electronics, and microfluidics, protected by more than 50 patents. SiPhox is an MIT startup backed by Tier I investors including Y Combinator, Khosla Ventures, and Intel Capital.
The Role This is not a product-maintenance role. It is a role defined by urgency, ownership, and consequence. We build and deliver a physical product to customers' homes. It is filled with their blood, processed by laboratories under regulatory scrutiny, and returned as a result on which they will base real health decisions. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the full product lifecycle, execution and quality, who moves decisively under pressure, and who is willing to implement a practical solution now rather than wait for a perfect one later. Candidates who require a fully mature organization, established handoffs, and a documented procedure for every situation will not find that here. The ideal candidate is prepared to build those systems while the operation runs at full speed.Areas of Ownership Product ownership, mail-in blood testing The product is both the physical kit and the digital results experience. You own both. Own the product end to end: kit design, sample collection, return logistics, lab processing, results delivery Own the digital results experience, portal and app, as a core surface, not a SW hand-off Own design, build quality, cost, and customer experience across kit and software Execute launches and modifications with clinical, operations, and SW development Deliver new kit variants for e-commerce and B2B channels, drive continuous improvement Product strategy and GTM, mail-in blood testing Own the product roadmap Run continuous customer development and drive product-market-fit improvements Partner with e-commerce and B2B teams to optimize GTM and find new channels Retention and Retention Identify churn reasons; improve retention with targeted, cross-functional initiatives Guarantee results are accurate and delivered on time; this standard is non-negotiable Ensure products and processes meet CLIA/CAP, HIPAA, and FDA / laboratory-developed-test
requirements Move fast within those regulatory guardrails, not around them Process and Metrics Track sample success / redraw rate, and other drivers of delay, cost, and churn Own it as a product problem: collection device, instructions, packaging Track activation / completion rate: ordered, sample returned, result delivered Continuously identify and eliminate bottlenecks to improve efficiency and scalability Vendors and Partners Co-own manufacturing and lab relationships; hold partners to commitments and replace them when they fall short Initiate new partnerships to expand the testing menu and customer experience Team and Collaboration Develop the support team through training, feedback, and clear guidance Collaborate across marketing, operations, R&D, and SW development to drive product excellence and growth
Qualifications 3+ years in product, marketing, or operations — ideally physical, regulated, fast-moving settings like healthcare, biotech, or DTC hardware Comfortable owning both physical and digital product surfaces, and making decisions from operational data Strong problem-solving and adaptability as priorities and conditions change rapidly Excellent communicator who moves cross-functional teams without relying on formal authority Familiarity with CLIA/CAP, HIPAA, and lab compliance standards — or the ability to master them quickly Founder or early-employee experience is a plus Bachelor's in business, marketing or a related field — or an equivalent record of accomplishment Personal Characteristics Bias toward action — decisive under uncertainty, and comfortable correcting course as new information emerges Extreme ownership — accountable for outcomes across functional boundaries Composure under pressure — steady and effective when systems are strained Rigorous attention to detail — committed to getting it right the first time, given the consequences of an inaccurate result Low ego and high standards — willing to do unglamorous work while holding the bar high
