About the role
About SiPhox Health: SiPhox is embarking on an ambitious effort to make Healthcare 3.0 a reality. We provide high-precision diagnostic tools and at-home blood testing kits, making frequent and affordable healthcare more accessible. Our mission is to improve patient outcomes through innovative diagnostic solutions. Position Summary: We’re looking for a lightning-fast builder who thinks from first principles and thrives on turning novel ideas into polished, production-ready software. You have the technical depth to architect distributed AI pipelines, the curiosity to experiment with new models and frameworks, and the discipline to ship code that is both reliable and elegant. If you love owning problems end-to-end, moving at high velocity, and measuring success by the real-world health impact of your work, SiPhox may be the right place for you. What you will do Design, Build, Ship: Take full ownership of the product roadmap. You’ll lead the design and implementation of features that scale across our platforms. Collaborate & lead: Partner with clinical and sales teams to translate product
requirements into beautiful, shippable products. Own the Experience: Ensure every state of every feature is bulletproof. You’ll champion a rigorous testing culture that prioritizes both functional reliability and aesthetic elegance. Minimum
qualifications BS (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Cognitive Science, design, or similar. A Portfolio: A track record of designing and shipping production-level software where you owned both the UI/UX and the code. We want to see products that are as technically sound as they are beautiful. 10x Builder: You are an AI-native developer / vibe-coding power user. You constantly experiment with the latest LLM to ship production-grade code at pace. Product Instinct: A proven track record of shipping software that isn't just functional, but intuitive. You can translate complex clinical data into a clean, actionable user experience. Communication: Ability to articulate technical trade-offs to engineers while clearly explaining product decisions to clinical and sales stakeholders.
How we work Bias for action: We expect you to prototype in hours, not weeks. If you can ship beautiful, reliable software outrageously quickly, we will give you total autonomy. Extreme Ownership: You will be responsible for products end-to-end: design → implementation → testing → observability and testing in production. You own the outcome, not just the task.

About SiPhox
SiPhox was founded by Diedrik Vermeulen and Michael Dubrovsky one month BC (before COVID) in 2020. SiPhox’s mission is to build a next-generation biosensing platform that provides the power of several large laboratory instruments in a handheld device that accepts disposable cartridges. Each cartridge can multiplex many biomarkers on a single $0.50 silicon photonic chip and provides highly sensitive readout of immunoassays and RNA/DNA. The SiPhox team has extensive experience translating cutting-edge optical chip technology into mass-produced products used all over the world and is bringing the same proven approach to the next frontier for integrated photonics: biology.
