About the role
Lead, coach, and develop a healthy, high-performing engineering team by creating clarity, establishing priorities, fostering an inclusive culture, and helping engineers grow their technical and leadership capabilities. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. OR equivalent experience. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field AND 10+ years of experience in software development, platform engineering, engineering systems, distributed services, developer productivity tooling, or related technical disciplines. Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale software systems including service architectures, APIs, workflow platforms, data models, operational telemetry, testing strategies, and production readiness practices. Experience leading complex engineering initiatives involving technical strategy, architectural decision making, dependency management, cross-team collaboration, and delivery across multiple stakeholder groups. Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 4+ years of people-management experience leading software engineers delivering production services, platforms, developer tools, or engineering infrastructure. Experience building engineering systems, developer productivity platforms, workflow automation solutions, or AI-assisted engineering experiences. Experience working in security engineering, vulnerability response, release engineering, validation systems, servicing, compliance-sensitive environments, or other operationally critical engineering domains. Experience developing trusted platform capabilities involving governance frameworks, observability systems, evaluation platforms, knowledge retrieval systems, workflow orchestration, or operational decision-support solutions. Deliver platform experiences that support engineering workflows spanning security intake, engineering assessment, remediation, validation, release readiness, and post-release learning while promoting consistency, reliability, and scalability.
