Hire, develop, and retain a high-caliber engineering team on a net-new charter, and turn senior engineers into technical leaders and future managers Set the technical and product direction and be accountable for delivering an AI system that safely reasons over - and changes - customer identity policy at scale. Set the bar for safe agentic engineering. Establish how
the team designs, tests, and ships AI that must be correct, explainable, and reversible -hardening posture without breaking users. Drive the "securing AI" strategy across boundaries. Define how the Conditional Access engine, Identity Protection risk signals, and the agent-identity platform fit together, and align the teams that own them. Build a team culture where reliability, security, and operational excellence are first-class. Represent the work to leadership and customers. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
