As a Facilities Chemical/Gas Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of Intel's factory support equipment infrastructure. You will manage system operations, resolve technical challenges, and provide engineering expertise to support manufacturing and facility objectives. Your contributions will directly impact Intel's ability to maintain its cutting-edge semiconductor fabrication processes and achieve operational excellence. Key
Responsibilities Provide engineering expertise for factory support equipment (i.e. Vacuum pumps, abatement units, heat exchanger) to ensuring operational reliability and compliance with semiconductor
requirements. Manage system troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and capacity planning to meet operational demands. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and commissioning for factory support equipment installations and upgrades. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver cost-effective solutions that meet design criteria. Support construction and operations teams through effective coordination and field oversight. Create and maintain documentation, including installation procedures, commissioning checklists, and sequence of operations.
Qualifications: Minimum
qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred
qualifications are in addition to the minimum
requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field with 1+ year of hands-on experience in chemical/gas systems through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training OR a Master's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field. Your experience described above must be in the following: Knowledge of chemical compatibility, high-purity gases, and process control statistical analysis. Familiarity with materials of construction for chemical and gas systems infrastructure. Preferred
Qualifications Experience with vacuum pumps, point-of-use abatement systems, chillers, and heat exchangers. Hands-on experience in startup and commissioning of facilities systems. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and influence stakeholders.
