Introduction The Sr. Director of Total Rewards is responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and administering a comprehensive global total rewards strategy and programs that includes all aspects of the employee rewards programs including
Compensation and
Benefits. This person has a deep understanding of external best-practices and reward strategies, can conceptualize long-term and bridge strategies, is comfortable getting into the details to build defensible proposals, and has a track record of leading major implementations and operationalizing in a scalable way. This position will manage a team of functional experts and reports to the Chief People Officer. Job
Responsibilities Owns development and management of a broad functional area or multiple teams, including policies, processes, short and long-term vision, strategy and strategies to increase group effectiveness, productivity and impact. May manage other department managers. Accountable for on time, on budget delivery of individual and team work product. Understands the current and developing state of the industry, including trends and emerging issues. Articulates and discusses complex industry-specific issues, and clearly understands market trends. Fosters proactive and strategic thinking across organizations to drive alignment around critical goals and objectives. Regularly shares high level, important business updates with organization to ensure the best available data is at their disposal to inform plans and decisions. Knowledge and Experience Possesses broad knowledge of a particular field of specialization. Advanced level for people management positions. Maintains current understanding of industry developments which may affect business or strategic plans. As a functional leader, uses functional and leadership concepts to resolve critical issues.
