Our patented technology has been used by global brands including Google, OPPO, and BMW. We operate at the intersection of advanced actuators, embedded systems, and tactile experience design. Our customers range from startups building next-generation wearables to established OEMs shipping at scale. We support them through early integration, mechanical reviews, and production-ready reference designs.
The Role We’re hiring a Head of Business Development to expand our customer base across North America. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role focused on outbound sales, technical relationship development, and closing design wins. The right candidate is comfortable navigating complex hardware sales cycles — from early-stage sampling through to DFM, validation, and purchase order. You should be familiar with how components get specified into consumer electronics and able to manage cross-functional conversations with engineering, sourcing, and product teams.
Responsibilities Identify and develop relationships with OEMs and emerging hardware startups in North America Drive the full sales process: outreach, technical positioning, validation, quoting, and order closure Present TITAN’s reference designs, evaluation kits, and actuator platforms to accelerate customer integration Support partnerships with ODMs and IDHs involved in customer design and manufacturing Represent TITAN at key industry events including CES, GDC, and embedded systems expos Coordinate internally with engineering and operations to support technical feasibility, sample requests, and project scoping Maintain structured reporting of pipeline activity and customer engagement status Required
Qualifications 4+ years of experience in business development, technical sales, or account management in hardware or components Familiarity with design cycles for consumer electronics, including validation, DFM, and BOM lock Demonstrated ability to manage long sales cycles and complex stakeholder groups Experience selling components, modules, or systems (e.g., actuators, sensors, embedded devices) Based in North America with the ability to travel for customer meetings and industry events Strong written and verbal communication skills; highly self-directed Preferred Experience Background in electromechanical systems, haptics, semiconductors, or embedded components Experience selling into CE brands or managing accounts through ODM and IDH programs Working knowledge of hardware development timelines from prototype to production Experience collaborating with engineering teams during integration and validation phases Literacy in Chinese (spoken or written) is highly valued but not required
