What we're looking for?
We're seeking a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney with 0–5 years of post-bar experience to join MVP Law — the Midwest's #1 workers' comp defense firm. You should be a genuine, curious, people-first attorney who can hold a conversation, build real client relationships, and manage a defense caseload with growing independence. Bonus points if you have insurance defense or plaintiff-side workers' comp experience, though we're equally excited to train sharp new grads who are open to learning.
What you'll do:
Compensation: $100,000–$130,000 base salary + uncapped quarterly production bonus (5–10% of billables over baseline; recent payouts range from $1,500 to $20,000/quarter). Bar fees, prep materials (BarBri Advanced), and exam hotel costs covered. Relocation assistance negotiable.
For more than a century, we’ve forged our own path to meet clients’ needs, and we’re never satisfied with the status quo. Our attorneys understand and value the importance of building relationships with our clients. By gaining a better understanding of their businesses and objectives we can provide the best possible legal representation. While our formal name remains as McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips, we have embraced the name MVP Law.
