About the role
What we're looking for:
We need a product designer with 0-2+ years of experience in consumer mobile app design who is deeply AI-native and can own our entire user experience end-to-end. You should be comfortable working at startup pace — juggling multiple features simultaneously, making fast design decisions, and iterating rapidly rather than perfecting in isolation. Bonus points if you have frontend coding ability or a strong visual/fine art background.
What you'll do:
- Own end-to-end UX design across all key product surfaces on mobile, collaborating directly with product managers on new feature development from research through delivery
- Take ownership of existing product experiences — proactively identify what's broken or misaligned with the design system and drive fixes independently, managing engineers to implement changes
- Use AI tools (Claude Code, Codex, etc.) daily to rapidly prototype interactive designs and accelerate your workflow from concept to testable prototype
- Work with data to understand conversion funnels, run experiments, and optimize user flows based on quantitative signals rather than gut feel alone
- Define and evolve the product's visual language, interaction patterns, and design system — taking over from an external agency and building deep product context
- Ship at startup speed — follow the 80/20 rule for research, iterate quickly with PMs, deliver designs fast, and improve based on real user feedback rather than seeking perfection upfront
